SuperBikes Center (SBC) wants you to understand how we handle your data, and to know your rights and choices. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our website, apps, or social media pages, or when you avail of our products and services — including motorcycle sales, financing, after-sales service, and insurance. We process your data in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and the rules of the National Privacy Commission (NPC).
What information do we collect about you?
We collect information that can identify you, either on its own or combined with other details. This includes:
• Your name, address, phone number, and email address
• Payment and financing details, such as your ID, TIN, income, and bank or credit information
• Vehicle and transaction details, such as the unit you purchased, OR/CR, and service records
• Messages, inquiries, or feedback you send us through our branches, website, or social media
• Technical information from your device when you visit our website, such as your IP address and browser type
• Photos or videos taken during branch visits, events, or promotions, and CCTV footage at our branches.
What do we do with the information we collect?
We use your information to:
• Process your purchase, financing application, registration, and after-sales requests
• Respond to your inquiries, requests, and complaints
• Send you billing statements, service reminders, and other transaction-related notices
• Understand your preferences so we can offer more relevant products and promotions
• Send you updates on new units, deals, and events, if you have agreed to receive marketing messages
• Improve our products, services, and the way we serve our customers
• Detect and prevent fraud, and keep our systems and branches secure
• Comply with our legal, tax, and regulatory obligations
With whom do we share your information?
We keep your information confidential within SuperBikes Center. We only share it outside the company when necessary, such as with:
• Financing partners and banks, to process your loan application
• Insurance providers, to process coverage such as the Honda Insurance Program
• The Credit Information Corporation and accredited credit bureaus, as required by law for companies offering financing
• Government agencies such as the LTO and BIR, for registration, tax, and other legal requirements
• Service providers who support our operations (such as IT or courier services), under confidentiality agreements
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with anyone outside this list without your consent or a valid legal basis.
How do we protect your information?
We protect your data through organizational, technical, and physical safeguards, including restricted access, secure storage, and confidentiality agreements with our employees and service providers. We cannot guarantee absolute security, so we also encourage you to keep your account details and personal documents safe and to inform us right away if you suspect any misuse of your data
What about sensitive personal information?
We only collect sensitive information such as government-issued IDs, income, or health details when it is genuinely needed, such as for financing approval or insurance processing. This information is given stricter protection and is processed only with your consent
What are your responsibilities?
Protecting your data is a shared responsibility. Please:
• Keep your account details, login credentials, and personal documents secure, and avoid sharing them with unauthorized persons
• Make sure the information you give us is accurate, complete, and updated
• Notify us immediately if you believe your data has been accessed, used, or shared without your permission, or if you suspect any other data breach involving your information
You may report any concern about a possible data breach to our Data Protection Officer using the contact details in Section 11. We will investigate promptly and take appropriate action in line with NPC requirements.
